Since its conception in 1989 the African Caribbean Music Circuit has toured the widest range of artists showcasing music from across the Black world. For example it was ACMC who gave major international stars such as Angelique Kidjo and Papa Wemba their first shows here in the UK and even established artists of merit such as the Toots and the Maytals, the Mighty Diamonds and the Third World Band (all of whom had only ever visited the UK for one off dates) achieved their first full UK tours through ACMC.
